Since his first published research paper in 1982, Dr.Grifo has consistently conducted research in his major infertility interests: Preimplementation genetic diagnosis, Blastocyst transfer, and Oocyte cryopreservation /fertilitypreservation. He is considered one of the primary research authorities in both areas and is often called upon to speak on these topics, as well as on his expertise as both an infertility researcher and physician.

To date, Dr. Grifo has published over 130 research papers and has traveled the world, giving lectures and attending seminars. Most recently, Dr. Grifo was the Keynote Speaker at a Blastocyst conference in County Cork, Ireland.
